RP Podiatry is run by Podiatrist Richard Povey.
Richard qualified from the University of Huddersfield in 2005 with a BSc degree in Podiatry and started work for the NHS based at Newark hospital. Over the 4 years in the NHS he worked in both community and hospital settings, treating a range of foot conditions including diabetic ulcers, ingrowing toenails and arthritic joints. He left in 2009 to start his own domiciliary practice as well as becoming an associate at the Arnold Podiatry Clinic. During the next few years he also completed his MSc in Podiatry, again from the University of Huddersfield.
Having moved to live in East Bridgford in 2017, he started his own Clinic in March 2018 in Smart Hair and Beauty (East Bridgford) which saw him go from renting a room for just 1 day a week to having his own permanent room by November 2018. He has now set up a permanent clinic on Nottingham Road, Bingham.
Richard is a big sports fan having played football and cricket at a good local standard, but now has a keen interest in coaching football for both his sons team and Arnold Eagles ladies FC.
